Apartment 4

About Me

"They deftly blend harmonies and influences as diverse as The Beatles, Nirvana, The Rentals, The Stooges, and Spoon. It’s no wonder that the songs on their latest EP, The Snowball Fight, appeal to pop, punk, grunge, and indie rock fans alike!" -David Bash, International Pop Overthrow---In Late 2004 seasoned concert violinist, Angie Sheldrake teamed up with long time friend, Jaye Thomas (Conniption) for a one-time performance of Jaye’s solo material. There was such chemistry between the two that they decided to start writing songs together. After some consideration and a few weeks of practice in Jaye’s apartment, they aptly chose the name "Apartment 4". Later, Dan Slaven, Bill Kalmar and Larry Campbell joined the duo adding bass, guitar and drums respectively and making Apt 4 a full band.Recent studio sessions with Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, Capitol Cities) yielded Apt. 4’s self-titled rock n’ roll debut as well as the new Snowball Fight EP.Other websites w/info on Apartment 4: www.bestrocknrollband.com click on Detroit bands, Motorcityblog I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
