Hi everyone, my name is Gene Okerlund. Most of you may know me as "Mean Gene" from my days of commentating for both the WWF and WCW. That name was given to me by my good friend Jesse "The Body" Ventura. I got my start in the wrestling world in 1984 and it has become a huge part of my life. I have hosted several Wrestlemania's, Royal Rumble's and countless numbers of historic matches. I've been fortunate enough to develop some great relationships througout my career with several wrestling greats such as Hulk Hogan, The Junkyard Dog, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Rick Flair and Tugboat to name a few. Through all my years in association with the professional wrestling world I have only been physically involved in one match. It was a tag team match with my true friend, Hulk Hogan, and we took on Mr. Fuji and George "The Animal" Steele. It was a grueling matchup but fortunately enough myslef and "The Hulkster" came out victorious when I pinned Fuji for the victory after a vicious boot to the face and massive leg drop by Hogan. In April of 2006 I became only the third member to be inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame. I was inducted by me great friend Hogan the night before Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago.On that historic night I requested to be buried face first when I die so that all my critics can kiss my ass.Deadly snakes are in your extended network
