About Me

Let all the children boogie!- Awesome line from a David Bowie Song and my personal mantra. I'm an ex-preschool teacher turned nanny who likes to spread the joy of good music to the young and impressionable. When the one year old I take care of is fussy, nothing calms her down like a youtube video of the Feist performance on Letterman. She can say "Bowie" and identify him in photos. Some days we spend the whole morning in the record store looking at the new release posters on the wall. She's also obsessed with berries, gorillas, and fish. Oh wait this profile is supposed to be about me.When I'm not working I practice what I preach by going to lots of live shows and have even been known to spontaneously hop in a band's tour van and travel on to the next city with them. Although not blessed with any musical ability myself, I use my powers of creativity by taking printmaking classes. I just might turn out to be an art major, you never know. But please, someone take me out if I start refusing to wear anything but 50's cotton dresses and a fanny packs. :;
