Why is it always the gentle ones who pay for everybody else's ambitions?

About Me

Okay boys and girls, here are the rules. Find a penny, pick it up. Double it, you've got two pennies. Double it again - four. Double it 27 more times, and you've got a million dollars and the IRS all over your ass. Round and round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows, but it all adds up...quick. - John Cricthon, Farscape
Wow, I am actually putting the tiniest bit of effort into this. I'm surprised. Well, what can I say? My name is Jessica, but most people either call me Jess, Rabbit or Usagi, depending on which one they prefer. How I got the nickname Rabbit/Usagi is a rather long (not really) and interesting story that dates back to high school. I'm 21, single and looking, preferably for someone in the Orlando area or really, anywhere in Florida since I have several homes here. However, that does not mean I am easy or just looking for a quick fix because that is what I can find here. Don't message me if we have nothing in common.
I'm pretty geeky, but it works for me since I rather be geeky than like a lot of the other people I see on here. My interests are along the lines of anime and fantasy. I love the Renaissance era. I dunno, it's something about the style then that I find absolutely irresistable. I love the style of EGA/EGA, which is Elegant Gothic Lolita..Aristrocrat. The look of "deadly innocence" really appeals to me. Just the fit of the outfits and the general style is just beautiful. I can't seem to describe it.
I like anime. I'm an otaku, and damn proud of it. I prefer watching shows with the original Japanese dialogue, so please don't ask me about it if you are a dubbie. I am pretty passionate (obsessive is more like it) about anime, so there is a good chance I won't acknowledge dubbies. The main shows I watch are Bleach, Death Note, Naruto (non-filler), and Konjiki no Gash.
I cosplay, meaning I make my own costumes. My current favorite costume is my Arwen Blood Red dress, which I wore to MegaCon 2007. I'm also known for doing Matsumoto Rangiku from Bleach, who I love. Most characters I pick have particular traits that remind me of myself. For some, it's their strength, for others it's how laid back they are. But I try to keep as close to my body type as possible. I plan on doing a lot more in the future but I want to refine my skills a bit more before I try anything too complicated.
Let's see...what else? I'm into...well, there is reading manga and fantasy novels. My current books are the Age of Five and the Blending series, and just finished the Troy Game series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows = LOVE! I also read a lot of American comics, though strictly Marvel (DC never worked for me). I'm pretty big on Star Wars, in fact, it's my dream to go to one of the conventions. I'm completely in love with Farscape, which is possibly the best show on TV of all time. You cannot convince me otherwise, so please don't try.
::sighs:: Man, this is long. But at least this way, everything is out in the open and I won't have to waste my time later.
Other things? I don't believe in God, it's not my thing and I was a biology major. It's hard to believe in a supreme being when you can trace the evolutionary history of the world from a single-celled organisms to...well, us. I'm straight-edged, meaning I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I think they are stupid and if I did..that would mean less money for anime. And we all know the golden saying: Anime - Crack is Cheaper. Amen.
Did I cover everything? Is there anything we are missing? If there is, feel free to message me through AIM (AzuraFrost) or MSN ([email protected]). I'm really not as mean as I might seem.
