About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI started to make music when I was only 12 years. It all started because of my curious attitude towards music, those days I used to listen to Death Metal and stuff. But my music wasn't Death Metal at all... No! It was totally different, for some reason I don't remember I started to record strange sounds from every source I could possibly find, like traffic sounds, people talking, radio and TV shows and many other including my own speechs at that time. Later in 1996 I bought a guitar, a very cheap one but useful for many things I wanted to do. Believe or not my ideas those days were make a band that sounded like Nirvana. So I tried to make something similar, but nor lucky for me nobody wanted to play with me... mainly because I was very antisocial. So I decided to record my early guitar without any effects mixed with TV shows and news. My riffs were very simple and sometimes out of tune, I did it to make it more difficult to understand it.
I record at least 30 minutes of pure noise. Sadly I lost the tape. Between playing guitar mixed sounds I also started to make what my future sound would sound like: Computer aided music.
I started to use a very comprehensive software (Cakewalk Express) for make music. My early attempts of songs were just for fun, then with time the sounds were more greaceful. At least I composed around 80 songs in 4 years. This songs were classical/industrial influenced, at least thats what I tought. Now I can label them like classical experimental due their instruments and composition (like Barber, Chopin on classical influence) but with the main difference on notes and time (experimental part). Very unusual notes selection and a out of tune structured songs were my style, I compose some classical Bach, Mozart influenced but were just silly. Then I tried more experimental sounds, mixing violins with screaming sounds; drums, piano and every day sounds; electric bass, cello and vocal chorus... many of this songs were 8 minutes long. I decided to move on and left this classical influence toward a more complex composition with even more than 10 channels. For 3 years I couldn't find a band I was satisfied with. I play with some for very shorts periods of time.
For 2 years now I'm making my project DxQx with just my computer aid and lots of imagination and sources (Jazz, Punk, Industrial, Indie, Folk, Classical, Metal, Country...). It's currently a electronic/industrial and noise mix and many experimental structures of songs. I'm in progress to record my first official album with possibly will be available on internet (for free distribution, ;) ) around another time because I don't have too much time! Damn University!.But lately I'm having a 180 degree change in my music. I'm thinking doing music in a old-fashion way, and also with some old influences like Dyango I'm trying to bring back the beauty of music into this modern days. I'm getting disappointed of rock these days, there is not passion at all, there is no actual feeling about music, it more a fashion or a rebellion without real concern or any fundamentalism. To make my point more clearly just watch this video and then you will understand what music should be, not the melody or the style but that emotion and heart these artists put on their music...
Enjoy! By the way, I'm not jew or religious.
