We're back! Nah, just kidding.

About Me

Back in 1996 a group of five young men formed a band and had a mission to change the world. They called the band vintage33. The name came from John 15:5, and spoke of how as Christians we are part of the True vine, that being Christ Jesus. The number 33 is the age of Christ when He gave his life for us. Hailing from some of the smallest towns in northwest Alabama, no one really thought much of what they were trying to achieve. But with great determination the band pressed on in search of a major record label. They came so close to living their dream but many unfortunate circumstances pulled them apart. Never the less, they left the world with a 10 song CD to listen to, a substantial fanbase, and a lot of great memories. As a band they opened for acts such as Third Day, Erin O'donnell, and Clay Crosse. They won first place in a battle of the bands competing with many regional bands from West Virginia to Florida. This competition allowed them a prime spot on the Christian stage at Big Springs Jam later that year in 1998. About midway through 1999 two of the founding members left the band. The other three members carried on in search of the dream. They put together a new band, but the vision was not the same as the original five had set out to achieve. Eventually they disbanded and went their separate ways. All five original members are still involved in music whether it be as professionals or just weekend warriors.
