SEE MY FILM - CLICK ON 'MY VIDEO'S I'm a 30 year old stuck in a 15 year olds body (not in terms of looks unfortunately).I moved to Birmingham from Leicester in 1996 to study a degree.......which i failed. After working for 3 years as a disability support worker i then took on the role of House Manager/Customer Service Manager at The Drum (an African/Caribbean/Asian Theatre & Event venue).I'm a comedian now. I currently tour with Upfront Comedy (www.upfrontcomedy.co.uk) around the UK.On the first Thursday of every month i co-present/compere an open mic comedy show at Newstyle radio (98.7fm www.newstyleradio.co.uk), where anyone wishing to have a go at comedy can perform to a paying audience in return for their entrance fee back, some advice/response to their performance and where possible other opportunities to perform and advance their comedy skills. Within New Style Radio I also have a weekly 15 minute spot every Friday (Mahtab Khan 12:30-1pm) and co-present a show every Monday (Toni Roots 10am - 12pm) at New Style Radio, Winson Green, Birmingham.Alongside this I work with Creative insights (www.creativeinsightuk.com) where I host a Showcase of new/local bands around Birmingham pubs.
