The band is named after Slagle's great uncle, Bill Roach, who attended yearly hootenannies at their home in Monkstown, Texas. All the members are proud to be native Texans and all are from generations of deep rooted family musical backgrounds.The band has developed throughout the years. They may have some new members, but continue playing the same fun loving music that keeps fans tapping their toes and coming back to hear them again and again. They play Texas original music, country, bluegrass, classic rock, tropical, and a lot of FUN stuff!
