About Me

Life gets better with every passing day. Those of you who know me understand that I am a happy-go-lucky kinda guy. I understand that I have been extremely fortunate throughout my life both through experiences and learning opportunities. I am a Type A personality, and jump at the chance to better myself or those around me. I thrive on competition and have an obsessive personality toward succeeding in all aspects. Whether its sales, video games, a new drinking game, or an exam, I can accept nothing less than to convince myself that I have achieved my highest standards. At this point in my life, I want to work smarter, not harder. I want to continue to build upon the foundation I have created for my future, and experience as much as possible when doors open. I want access to all of my dreams early on in life, so that I can spend more time giving back to others. My only enemy is time. Time runs faster as I get older, and it makes it increasingly difficult to stay in touch with those I have memories with. A constant conundrum is whether to remain close with few, more quality friends, or to struggle to hold onto those acquantances which I have been fortunate to cross paths with. As my career progresses, and my life unfolds, I strive to remain true to the friendships and the values I have earned. I hope to imprint the importance of friends (old and new) through myspace and other convenient communications still to come in the future, as we all struggle to balance our social lives among the rush of the 24 hr cycle.

My Interests

I'm easily amused.

I'd like to meet:

Friends (old and new)

Music:

Music that I have personal memories attached to, usually is the most meaningful and appreciated. I also enjoy experiencing what my friends listen to. Music selection says a lot about a person and their mood.

Movies:

I consider myself a decent movie buff, but only based on what I've seen. I spend a lot of time watching *** or **** movies, and I'm always looking for a great recommendation to add to my list. At times, it seems as if I've seen everything on all the movie channels and I rewatch movies constantly. I attribute a lot of life to what I've seen in the movies, and I've learned a great deal from great actors, scenes, and dialogue.

Television:

I'm not really a "t.v. person." I watch the news in the morning, and my sports teams when I catch them. I'm a huge fan of the channel MOJO (a men's channel with adventure, drinking, cooking, gambling, travel, business, cars, money, etc) Recently, Megan has me watching more of what have become "our shows" aka American Idol, Moment of Truth, Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader, One Tree Hill, Big Brother, etc.

Books:

I enjoy reading magazines that interest me. I read magazines geared toward men, gadgets, housewares/deco, business, etc. I also read business books, sales books, and spiritual books.

Heroes:

My parents are my biggest heroes. They have made me who I am, and those of you who know them, know how strong our bond is. Other than them, my heroes are those who have sacrificed for others throughout history.
