The Noble One: Funk Dr. Mark

I was born and raised in New York City. I grew up in Jamaica, Queens and then moved to Westbury, LI when I was starting high school. I did my first year of undergrad at the New York Institute of Technology and then eventually transferred to North Carolina A & T State University as a Biology major. While at A & T, I found that the road was long to the Sigma land. I pledged the Mighty Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. My next stop took me to Saint Louis, MO, where I attended Logan Chiropractic College and learned that dissecting cadavers for 8 months was only the beginning. That road was even longer than I thought. Late nights studying everything from neurology to differential diagnosis to spinal biomechanics, gave me a new respect for all other doctors of chiropractic that came before me and finished with their sanity. I now live in Saint Louis, MO with a growing practice that I love, and a fantastic family to match. Who would have ever thought, the skinny dude from 140th Ave and Rockaway Blvd that played baseball for Rochdale Village Little League, chased girls around Baisely Park and rode up and down Guy R Brewer before York College was even built....would have made it this far.
