It wasn't long before the lyrical genius earned himself the title Freestyle King, referring to his innate ability to formulate rhymes and thoughts off the top of his head. Kilenm is an extraordinary artist that stands out above the rest. He is destined to be the next great lyricist for the new generation of fans. In such a short time Kilenm has build up his status in the underground scene as an up and coming great artist. Bottom line, Kilenm is one the hottest upcoming artist in the country with a street buzz that stretches across the country. Kilenm credit his success to his ability captures audiences with his unique ability to flow in many styles, his numerous punch line, wordplay, and his metaphors. In 2004 the young rapper alongside Teddy and Yonas formed Make Moves Entertainment. The three entrapaneurs combined their keen sense of marketing and management to establish an independent record label stationed in the D.C. Metropolitan area. Immediately Kilenm came out with Not Your Average Mixtape in 2004 which sold over 5,000 copies. Kilenm mesmerized his fans with phenomenal punchlines like Im the type to cut ya wrist off and then say do you need a hand? In less than one year later Kilenm dropped his second Mixtape titled Not Your Average Mixtape 1.5 toping his debut release with just under 7,000 copies sold. Kilenms musical success earned him a spot on the BET Spring Bling 2005 Freestyle Battle. This national event hosted by such prominent hip hop stars as Wycleff, Fat Joe and T.I showcased Kilenms ability to obliterate an opponent lyrically. The young rapper was crowned the 2005 BET Spring Bling freestyle champion solidifying his presence as the next up and coming star in the hip hop industry. Following his national exposure Kilenm along with Make Moves second artist Profit released his 3rd Mixtape titled "History In The Making" which was distributed heavily throughout the east coast selling over 10,000 copies. From 2005 - 2006 Kilenm along with Make Moves hit the road to perfomed in various cities like Atlanta, Boston, LA, Seattle, and Washington DC and sold his cds. His single "we can talk money" has been featured on HIPHOPGAME EPISODE 6. And on January 28, 2006 the song was the spotlight featured on Washington DC WPGC 95.5 home Jams by DJ Dirty Rico. Alongside fellow artists Profit and Strap, Kilenm plans to take over the music industry. What we about to do is bigger than hip hop, its bigger than music period. This is a revolution and a movement thats about to change life as we know it, says the gifted young rapper. Kilenm attributes his musical motivation to the late Lamont Coleman AKA Big L. I wouldn't be rapping if it wasnt for Big L. I learned almost everything I got from Big L, who in my opinion without a doubt is the greatest rapper of all time says the 23 year old rapper.
