Hey, I'm Helen, but I guess you knew that already. I also tend to answer to H, Smellen, Helga, Susan, or more recently 5'9. And Caspar might possibly catch on.I am in my second year of university as an American Studies major (scary - doesn't time fly!!!) and even scarier, I am now in America studying. I did one year at Lancaster, and now am in glorious Maine on the beautiful UMaine campus in Orono aKa the middle of nowhere.For those of you who have a very loose grip on geography *cough* Kate, here is where I am!

It's not long now until I'm home for Christmas and I cannot wait. As great a time as I'm having here I love England, and particularly Nottingham, and the people there so so much! I miss you all xI lived in Nottingham for the first eighteen years of my life and miss the big bad city, I thought Lancs was a sheltered boghole, but its got nothing on UMaine!! The great outdoors beckons! Despite being Nottingham born and bred, contrary to popular belief I am not a gangster, I do not belong to the mafia, and I have never shot anyone nor been shot. In fact, the only time I have ever seen a gun was on the streets of Lancaster.I guess I'm a pretty typical nineteen year old girl, with a fondness for sexy pirates, vodka, movies, reading, and a love of all things pink. The ice hockey obsession is slightly less typical, as is my co-ownership of a pet marrow named Morris. Trust me, they make good pets. Give it a try.And remember - "These are not posh shoes!!"

My Interests

Hockey, music (especially live), reading, writing, movies, adventure, exploration, new experiences. Generally spending time with cool people and having a laugh.

If I could meet three people in the world they would have to be Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Johnny Depp, and my grandad. Yes, I know, two of them are dead and one is an untouchable sex god pirate who looks fantabulous without a shirt on, but hey, who said you can't aim high?

To listen to in my room, Greenday, Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Ash, the Beatles, Rooney, the Kooks, old times Blink 182, Foo Fighters, Athlete. Queen!! Love a bit of eighties to dance to when out. Cheesy Carleton, gotta love it!! Oh, and the ultimate....TAKE THAT !!!!

Can't beat a bit of Extreme Makeover Home Edition!Gorgeous houses, an excuse to have a cry, and Ty Penningtom - YUM!Also Friends, the OC, Neighbours, Home and Away, and who can resist Deal or No Deal!And Lost is fantabulous - Sawyer, *swoon* !!
