David De La Cruz is no stranger to working under deadlines. Over the past 10 years, I have utilized my styling and art direction expertise in many exciting mediums. From creating, and reinventing looks for celebrities, models, sports figures, and advertising executives to fashion art directing and Photo retouching for national brands, De La Cruz has a passion for imagery. In 2006, he made the decision to combine his retouching and art direction skills to give birth to De la style Inc Image therapy.

My retouching has been featured in several advertising campaigns including the Spring 2007 Apple bottom Ads, Forbidden Fruit, Live mechanics and myriad of magazine publications.

In additionMy worked has been featured in : Harpers Bazaar, Vogue ,Interview, Nylon, Latina,People Magazine, and countless international magazines.
I have become an expert in branding for some of the nation’s leading multicultural hair care companies.

Working with celebrities Nia Long and Mary J. Blige, he helped bring a fresh new look to the Dark & Lovely hair care brand including the advertising campaign and launch of 26 new SKUs of hair color and the re-launch of their core brand. He styled several national campaigns for L’Oreal-Soft Sheen/Carson, which included print ads and a television commercial featuring boxer Laila Ali. Currently I’m helping to refresh and boost some brands the Colomer Group USA. These include African Pride, Creme Of Nature and Arosci.

To add icing on the cake, I have been a celebrity stylist on music videos, television commercials print work makeover shows, CD packaging and award shows for numerous entertainers including: Laila Ali, Jake Gyllenhall, Gloria Estefan, Back Street Boys, India Arie, Jennifer Holliday to name a few.
