I've rediscovered a lot about myself and who I am and what I'm capable of and I am looking forward to what the second half of my life has in store for me..I'm very optimistic and happy to be here.
I want to eventually become a teacher, but have to make some money first and get ahead of the curve. I like doing something that makes a difference in peoples lives. In my life, I've been an auto mechanic (had my own little shop for a while), a truck driver (On the NE coast), restored a yacht, restored semi-exotic european cars for a while. Even had one Jag I worked on in an exhibit at the MOMA in NY, a Pizza Shop owner, Algebra tutor, worked in a few restaurants in various capacities, and misc. other activities to pay the bills. I'd rather learn how to do something myself than pay someone else to do it. I think of myself as a jack of all trades, master of few, lol. I consider myself intelligent, open, have libertarian christian values but not into organized religion. I'm not into impressing the Jones just enjoying life and learning. Material things are great, but not required. I think it's important to not take life too seriously, I try to see the humor in things, try to laugh as often as I can. I listen to talk-radio, read and watch sci-fi and think there is more to life than what we can see and touch. I've been told I'm deep, logical, patient, a good listener and hard to figure out at times. Take that for what it's worth. I like thinking about life, love, my place in the world and how people interact. My hobbies include cooking, cars, motorcycles, fixing things, being outdoors and spending time with my 9 year old daughter.
