Payasos Asesinos History Payasos Asesinos started back in 2002,when most of us where in high school at the time. Some of us were going to Belmont, Manual Arts, and Metro. Our original singer (Jimmy) came up with the name Payasos Asesinos and united a group of people to start the band. He got Ivan and Cesar on guitar, Charlie on drums, Alexis on bass, Elisa on sax, Karen on trombone, and Jonathan on trumpet. Payasos had a lot of horns over the years, like nana on sax, axel on tenor sax, and iris and yoshi on trumpet. We always played skacore never changed our style. We have had some good shows with bands like Frustration(alterative rock), Ozomatli(Latin), Seis Pistols(Mexico DF punk), Matamoska, Chencha, La Resistencia. Some places we played were: The Zen,The Allen Theater,Knitting Factory. We played over 3 years makings songs like: Ska No Esta Muerto, Payasos13, Sin Ti, Noche De Terror, Gente Perdida, Somos Jusgados and Uno Dos x3. The list goes on. Until the time came when we lost some members and couldn’t bounce back. This was when Payasos deiced to take a break which led to breaking up in early 2006... Couple of years passed and Ivan, Cesar, and Alexis came upon the idea to bring back Payasos again. We recruited new members: like Tricky on vocals, Abe keyboard/tenor sax, Edgar on vocals/alto sax, and Leo, Grumpy on trumpet. Our style is still skacore but stronger and better then 4 years ago. We are pushing our music to the limit bringing you guys with the best skacore from Pico-Union and South Central.

Requirements are:
*Must have experience about 2 or 3 years minimum.
*Have transportation to practice.
*Have some music knowledge like knowing the notes.
*Having their own instruments.
*(No drug addicts) weed, beer is cool.
*Someone who can make it to practices on Fridays and Saturdays around 5pm…
