Rich Sheldon

RSB is an incarnation of the music of singer/songwriter/guitarist Rich Sheldon. Musical styles include a combination of groove, funk, blues, reggae, bluegrass, and psychedelic rock. Currently Rich has been performing with Son Vo of Mother Jones Band, Danny Rossman & Victor Patron of Zephro, and Fran McConville of Gypsy’s Merry Mystics.
Some of RSB's recordings have been showcased on the 97.1 FM “Frosty, Heidi, and Frank show”; on L A’s classic rock station 95.5 FM KLOS “Local Licks”; on KPFK 90.7 FM “The Music Never Stops” with Barry Smolin; and on various college radio stations in the US.
In 2004 RELIX Magazine selected Rich’s song “Destination Unknown” for their RELIX JAM OFF compilation CD and to appear in the magazine’s “On The Verge” section.
In 2007, the tune "Meet You In the Heavens" appeared on Ziggy Marley radio, a podcast show at ziggymarley.com. Also, this same song appears in the film "American Drug War", directed by Kevin Booth, (A Sacred Cow Production, co-founded by comedian Bill Hicks).
Rich has performed with Young Dubliner's guitarist, Bob Boulding and has recorded in the studio with Ed Tree of The Spencer Davis Group, Rick Shlosser (former drummer for Van Morrision) and Dig Lewis (former bassist for Stevie Wonder). He has appeared on the same bill with David Lindley & Wally Ingram, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Chris Hillman, and Sweetwater.
