About Me

Corey "2E" Williams II was born on March 14, 1982. Even as infant, it was apparent that music was one of his greatest loves. 2E began what would become his musical calling, as a child, when he started drumming. For awhile, he found solace contentment, but being the son of a musician and singer, his father, Corey I, saw something more, and encouraged his son to explore those avenues by insisting upon him joining his church's youth choir. But his first love remained drumming. As he entered his adolescent years, he aligned himself with a local rap group, E Nation, where he started singing hooks and became comfortable and began focusing on becoming a R&B Singer. Now at age 25, 2E has worked with many artist, some of which include: American Idol and Broadway Star, Fantasia Barrino, the singing duo, K-Ci and Jo Jo, and Jodeci. Look for great things, from this up and coming artist, 2E who has a solo project set to debut in 2009.

I'm definitely a fan of the old school, Andre' Crouch, Earth Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, The Jackson 5, The Jacksons, Charlie Wilson, Chicago, George Benson, The Four Tops, The Commadores, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Michael Jackson (when he was black), Debarge, Aretha, all dem old school favorites. New school, of course 2E (myself), Kim Burell, J. Moss, all the Clark sisters, Daryl Coley, PJ Morton, Ike Carrie, Musiq Soulchild, Glen Lewis, Donnie, Bilal, Faith, Mary J. Blige, Dwele, Carl Thomas. It's so many!! I'm a fan of "REAL" music!!
