After a few former failed band projects, Dino Marchegiani and Retoo
decided to start a new band. That was in December 2001. Both have
been functioning as Songwriters, Vocalists and guitar players. Jason
Hunter took the position as the drummer.
They mostly had to work without a bass player, since no one could
fulfill that position to their satisfaction.
The name of the band expresses itself in an English - Latin form.
“4†is spoken “for†(not “fourâ€) = for – “Esprit†which is Latin for
“mind and joke†- 4Esprit = For mind and joke.
Since January 2004 the band can be viewed at www.4esprit.ch. In
September 2004 their first EP could be purchased.
