"Immediate necessity makes many things convenient which, if continued, would grow into oppressions. Expedience and right are different things." -Thomas Paine 1776........... We see these "convenient necessities" all to often in our 21st century America. In fact I pay money from every salary, every business transaction, even my birth and death are taxed and payed as tribute to my obese big brother. In exchange for my tribute I am provided "necessities" that my brother deems necessary. My brother is a well wishing man whom swears to spoil me with lavish gifts in return for my work. He promises to protect me from terrifying villains, he invests my money for me and my children, he tells me what and where I can and cant smoke, he pays my debtor but not my debt.... He is even kind enough to keep me beer and liquor free before sending me to die in his glorious wars over petty politics and prejudice. All of these wonderful "necessities" at the small price of my Liberty and Labour. My brother's name is Sam And one day me and my other brothers will get big enough and wise enough to tell that sonofabitch how he will live and what HE owes to US. wake up people -Conrad F Harvey
