HYPOLLUTE

High octane industrial noise pollution

About Me

HYPOLLUTE has taken a new direction. It has been an interesting journey so far in equipment experimentation and sound design. I have realized my goals and working method finally. I recently closed the chapter on the past with people in whom I tried to work with who were not on the same wavelength. I moved to Melbourne to find the right environment and studio space ! I have very much embraced the technology of virtual synthesis but also have come full circle back to analogue hardware. I am now free to produce 'evil' sounding beats and 'industrial' mayhem with the 'best people I know' to work on this project with. HYPOLLUTE will feature Adam Lincoln, myself, Vina Von S and Jeff Stoddard of Roughhausen (Vancouver, Taipei) Jeff used to be in Frontline Assembly, WILL and DECREE who are some of my all time favourite acts. Roughhausen have just released a new album entitled 'The Agony of the Beat' released on Tinderbox Records. Soon to be backed by a tour of Japan, China, and Australia. Adam Lincoln (Sydney, London) is a huge part of this project and now is a full time member. He and I have worked together on and off for over 10 years and 'click' in the studio. He is a mean drummer and arranger ! I am delighted with the new team ! Also a young and very talented Andrew Waugh based here in Melbourne will be attending studio sessions and has been playing in various industrial/metal acts in Australia. Vina Von S is based in Sydney and has worked with me on various experiments to find where her voice connects with HYPOLLUTE. She is really into it and has a talent for lyrics. Vina has a great voice ! Expect Guitars, Bass, Drums, Modular Doepfer Synths, MOOG, Oberheim, Waldorf, Roland, Alesis, Studio Electronics, Access and Korg hardware synths (Digital and Analogue) to be the main sound source in this project. I have picked some of what I consider to be the best of virtual synthesis to add into the mix too. I am a great believer in high end hardware effects and pre amp's too. having lot's of fun with hand built analogue vintage boutique guitar pedals at the moment too. I have discovered a much more intense sound ! I am currently starting a fresh with new songs and writing lyrics. I am going to be very busy indeed now and am feeling very excited and more determined than ever to produce a killer record of tracks. A huge thank you to Jeff and Adam ! ! ! I will post up some snippets as the track's shape up. We will release an album and be a touring band ! Bill I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
