About Me

So, where do I begin. I'm Lauren. Hello. I am ganna be a freshman at U of O (thats the ducks for everyone who gets confused). I like to chill and do fun stuff. I have a boyfriend who is amazing. He gives me everything I want and I couldn't ask for more. We have a kitty, she's the tightest. Yea... thats pretty much it. I went to Barlow, but that doesn't really matter anymore. I played softball since I was 5. I absolutely love it. I decided to give it up after 4 years of varsity ball and one state championship. It was really hard to give up, still is. I figure that I want to pursue pre-med, and with ball I wouldn't be able to make the grades. That's pretty much it. I love my boyfriend. Again he is my life. Really, I couldn't do anything without him. I love my family too, and its gonna be really hard to leave. Thankfully Devon is moving with me, so he will help me through it. Uh...Go Ducks...

My Interests



I love playing softball. I have been playing since I was 5 years old. It is the ultimate game. Unfortunately I am choosing to give it up. I really want to be a surgeon. I am currently attending CAL and taking college credit courses to help me achieve my goal. Doing Pre-Med in college is a ton of work. I am choosing not to play softball to keep me focused on my career. It sucks, but it might give me more free time to spend with Devon!

I'd like to meet:

I have met a lot of people in my life... but its just never enough for myspace is it... I would like to meet God. I wanna see if he is actually Arab. I would also love to meet Adam, to find out if God gave him a belly button. I mean seriously, he didn't come out of a woman. I'd love to actually try to bat against Kat Osterman. I say try because it would be so intense... seriously... I am in awe.

Music:

I love music. All kinds. I listen to people like Colbie Calleit and Dashboard Confessional. I jam to people like Tech N9Ne and T.I. I rock out to bands like Avenged Sevenfold and the Used. I also listen to country when I'm feeling it. I like Dierks Bentley and Sugarland a lot.

Movies:

I watch movies all the time! I love HBO. I don't really like scary movies. I'll watch them, but not by myself. Usually I get forced into seeing them. I scream every time, even if I've already seen it. I love comedies: Pineapple Express, Superbad, Wedding Crashers, Knocked Up, and 40 Year Old Virgin. I love watching movies that have been up for the Best Picture Award. I love Crash, Babel, Juno, Gladiator, there are a ton of them.

Television:

I like the Office. Thats pretty much the only one I really watch.

Books:

I actually love to read. I have read a lot of James Patterson. I love his writing. Currently I am reading Atonement. It is very good. I would definatly recommend it.

Heroes:

My Hero would definatly be my great grandma. She got her four children through world war II and the Japenese containment camps. After that, she managed to send her children to Holland to have a better life. She is still alive today. She is so spunky and cool.
