About Me

I began my musical journey in the Atlanta-based band, Smalltown Poets. While in the band, we recorded two albums for an EMI label and earned a Grammy nomination along the way. It was quite the whirl wind experience! When it was time to move on, my wife and I headed back west to our roots where we ended up in the Portland area. I've had the opportunity to play on a number of indie projects here in Portland, including a band I co-founded called The Covering. Now that I'm getting older and losing my rock n roll edge, I spend most of my time creating instrumental landscapes with dreamy guitars and mellow beats.Oh yeah, I also work at CD Baby . Its unlike any other job you could possibly have! Right now, my job is to get our artist's music placed in TV and film, and if that wasn't enough, I also produce and host the CD Baby DIY Musician Podcast which can be found here.
