I'm a big fan of homebrewing. Not just because it's beer, but more because it becomes a part of you. I mean you are there from conception. Formulate the recipe, mix the ingredients, do all the cooking, and have the patience to wait till the fruits of your labor mature. It really is more of a spiritual thing. I'm pretty diverse. I listen to alot of country, old blues, southern rock, Irish punk. I'm a pretty big Dropkick Murphy fan, B.B. King, Aaron Tippin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood. Huge Stevie Ray Vaughn fan.
John Wayne, Dirty Harry, and good comedies like The Blues Brothers, or The Burbs. Movies that are kinda political commentaries are good too. Boondock Saints, enough said.
Old T.V. shows. I like Cheers, Tales from the Crypt, M.A.S.H.,the stuff you pretty much have to buy on DVD these days.
Le Morte De Arthur by Sir Thomas Mallory. There's alot of simple values in that book that have been overlooked that would go along way in changin the world for the better. Patience, humility, charity, honor, courage, chivalry, just to name a few.
Anyone who gives it all and asks nothing in return. The independant, the soldiers who fight for what they believe in and those who will not compromise their beliefs no matter what.
