I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 17 yrs. I began writing and composing songs when I was in my first year of college in 1990. I was first intrigued by the gentle, soul-embracing melody of the guitar as early as age 16. Discovering my musical skillset was the beginning of my spiritual journey. Music frees me. My musical style can best be described as a unique blend of jazz, folk with a slight twist of R & B flavor. I released my first demo cd in 2007, titled "Girl." These songs are available for download on my myspace page.My most recent project is titled "The NOLA Project" which honors the beautiful city of New Orleans and her people. The project is set to be released this fall."The NOLA Project" is my most treasured project. This cd is about growth, understanding, personal discovery and spiritual enlightenment. Since Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans continues to be in the healing process. It is my hope that we will all continue to support and pray for the people of NOLA. It was a pleasure to be a part of such a unique and loving community for the past year and a half. I now have a family in Louisiana that I will have to see at least once a year! I am now living in Asheville, NC continuing to develop my musical skillset and spiritual interests in the metaphysical community.
