Dynamic Talent, Eric Byous Sr. born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio is a. gifted and well respected musician that has been playing drums since the age of 2. Starting in Church he was able to gain a great ear & feel for music, his Mom who’s a talented and very well respected minister & singer was the major source of Eric’s exposure in Ohio and abroad. By the age of 10 Eric had become very popular in Ohio by playing for many of it‘s top Gospel, R&B, & Jazz artist. While holding his position as the in-house studio drummer for Dave & Mary Ann Applebee’s Scorpio Productions Studio Eric held a weekly Master Class Clinic that was very popular in the city of Cleveland/Ohio. This series of clinics also had a Talent Search portion for all musicians with a drawing in Ohio and abroad that produced many amazing raw talents that he believes is the future of Drumming & Music. Eric also has done clinics for some of Ohio’s finest Churches, Business Organizations, Music Stores, Elementary Schools, Jr. High Schools, High Schools, and Colleges. Eric has a powerful quote that he uses while holding his clinics that states “You will never Poses what you are Un-willing to Pursue! Eric’s Vision is to constantly & consistently PUSH his limits, to always be a chameleon in any musical situation, and also to raise the bar of thinking and the approach to all music as he also states in his clinics “Moving from Mediocre to Major!“.
