I've been told that my type is "nerdy but cute," and I fought it for a while, but it's pretty much true.
My favorite types of people are ones that are really passionate about something, what it is doesn't matter, as long as it gets them excited.
Also, I can't resist people in old crewneck sweaters or emotionally confusing bohemians in worn t-shirts. It's a weakness.
Music:
I like really sad music a lot of the time, so anything that rips your heart out of your chest while you're listening to it. I went through a phase three years ago where I had a sick fascination with reality television. Particularly romantic reality television. I watched all of the Average Joe series. All three seasons. I don't do it anymore. I'm not proud.
Books:
Cat's Cradle, 1984, I know Why the Caged Bird Sings, all the Chuck Palahnuik books (I always spell his name wrong, and i know that they're predictable and written the same way all the time, but i still like them), the World According to Garp, The Wizard of Oz, Manifesta, anything by david sedaris (although i prefer listening to him), a heartbreaking work of staggering genius, you shall know our velocity, the life of pi, four in the morning.
