DJ Adam J is one of Brisbane's most notorious DJ's. A humbling example of what it takes to truly succeed. Growing up Adam J developed a good ear for the classics, especially 80's rock, Lionel Richie , Billy Joel and Michael Jackson. Later in his high school years Adam became influenced by the way a DJ could manipulate a dancefloor and a greater passion emerged for his love of Hip Hop & RNB in the form of Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Tony Toni Tone and Lighter Shade of Brown to name but a few.As his love for Hip Hop, R'n'B grew, so did his love of vinyl. After a few years of constant positive feedback Adam tried his hand at the club scene and hasn’t looked back since. With a flare for mash ups, Hip Hop, RnB and commercial house (infact no genre is safe) he is a force to be reckoned with.
Highlights of DJ Adam J's career include playing beside and with names such as Nino Brown, Bluffsta, Sirvere, CXL, Havana Brown, Dirty Mob and Smashproof, interstate guest spots and internationally touring as one half of the 'Deck Wreckaz' with DJ Lenium of New Zealand.
DJ Adam J can be seen rocking capacity crowds at BDC nightclub (Brisbane Northsides # 1 party venue) every Friday night and every Wednesday night at Bump 'n' Grind at the Trans (Brisbane City)
