OMAR MENDOZA, JEFFREY ELKINS, MIGUEL JIMENEZ, FRANCISCO GONZALES, AND ARCHIE SALAZAR ALL PAST AWAY 8-05-2006 IN AN UNFORTUNATE CAR ACCIDENT. WHILE HEADING HOME FROM OMAR'S , MY BROTHER, FIANCE'S HOUSE THEY LOST CONTROL OF THEIR VEHICLE... ALL 5 ANGELS PAST AWAY... THIS ROAD WHERE THEY LOST CONTROL HAD NO REFLECTORS AND A REPORT CAME OUT STATING THERE HAD BEEN MANY DEATHS THERE... NO GUARD RAIL EITHER... LETS MAKE A CHANGE SO NO OTHER FAMILIES HAVE TO DEAL WITH WHAT WE HAVE! WELL... WHATS THERE TO SAY. I LOST ONE OF THE MOST LOVED PEOPLE IN MY LIFE... MY BROTHER! DONT KNOW WHY GOD HASA DONE THIS TO US BUT IM STILL WAITING FOR AN EXPLAINATION. I HAVE NEVER FELT THIS WAY BEFORE, CANT EVEN COME TO A COMPLETE REALIZATION THAT THIS HAS HAPPEND... PLEASE WAKE UP! WE ARE ALL IN PAIN OVER THIS, YOU LEFT BEHIND BEAUTIFUL TWINS, JACOB AND JASMINE... UNCLES HAVE BECOME YOUR FATHERS AND YOU WILL HAVE IT ALL, THE WORLD. CRYSTAL,I LOVE YOU! YOU HAVE BEEN THERE FOR MY BROTHER THROUGH IT ALL AND NO MATTER WHAT HE DID YOU WERE NEVER MAD AT HIM, YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE AND MADE HIM SO HAPPY. WHAT SADENS ME IS THAT YOU TWO WENT TO GET MARRIED AND FILLED OUT PAPERWORK AND DID IT, THEN THE DAY HE PASSED YOU GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL SAYING IT WAS NULLED BECAUSE THERE WAS A SIGNATURE MISSING, IM SORRY PRECIOUS... TO ME YOU WILL BE MY BROTHERS WIFE REGARDLESS... MOM, I HAVE NEVER SEEN YOU HURT THE WAY YOU HAVE...FUCK THAT KILLED ME... MADE ME BURN INSIDE... IM PROUD OF YOU FOR PULLING THROUGH. ME AND OSCARREST IN PEACE ILL SEE YOU SOON KARNAL. I MISS YOU SO MUCH HOMIE. OMAR "BIG BAD INDO" MENDOZA Omar Valentine Mendoza, 22, of Oxnard passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006. Omar was born March 4, 1984, in Oxnard and was a lifelong resident. Omar is survived by his children, Jacob and Jazmine Mendoza; mother and stepfather, Micaela Rangel Ramos and Manuel Ramos; fiancee Crystal Navarrete; brothers, Oscar Mendoza, Edgar Mendoza, Julio Chavira, Roberto Ramos and Angel Ramos; sisters, Daisy and Preciosa Ramos; and Valeria Balderrama, mother of his children. Omar enjoyed many things in life, being with his friends, relaxing after a hard day's work, eating Mexican food, the sport of handball, but his pride and joy was his children, who were his love and life. He was also a die-hard Raiders fan. Omar loved his job. He had intentions to continue his education by going to school to become a general contractor in hopes that one day his dream of owning his own company could be realized. JEFF "AIKER" ELKINS Jeffrey Wayne Elkins Jr., 21, originally from Oxnard passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, in a tragic car accident. Jeffrey was born in Ventura County and was raised in Oxnard for 19 years. He left with his family to Bakersfield, Calif., almost three years ago to start a new life. Jeffrey was greeted into heaven by his father, Jeffrey Wayne Elkins Sr., and his close friend Vincent Martinez. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his brother Richard. He loved hanging out with his friends. He loved any kind of music, from oldies to R & B to rap. He loved to eat! He loved playing with his little brother and sister and he loved his pit bull dog, Princess. Until we meet again, Jeff will be dearly missed by his mother, Stephanie Rayas; brother, Richard Elkins; little sister, Darlene Prieto; little brother Angel Prieto; grandmother Margie Castellanos; aunt Lorie Rayas; uncle Steve Rayas; and cousin Valerie Pena; great-grandmother Carmen Fuentez; and numerous great-aunts, -uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind very close friends including the Martinez family, Edgar Mendoza, Michael Monson, Gerald and Gabriel Nava and many, many more. For the rest of our lives, Jeff will be missed each and every day. Our lives here on earth will never be the same without you. You have completed your journey, Jeff. Until we meet again, we love you! FRANCISCO "CASER" GONZALEZ Franky Gonzalez, 21, of Oxnard passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, unexpectedly in a traffic accident. He was born Feb. 11, 1985, in Ventura and had been a lifelong county resident. Frankly worked in the construction industry for two years. He is survived by his father, Francisco Gonzalez; mother, Guadalupe Gomez; brothers, Rudy Gonzalez and Emiliano Gonzalez; sisters, Isaura Ruiz, Marisol Gonzalez and Lupita Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Fidel Ruiz; four nieces; one nephew; and many other family members and numerous friends. The Chain Will Link Again Little did we know that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. ARTURO "RONGS" SALAZAR Arturo I. "Archie" Salazar Jr., son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24 on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, after a tragic accident. Archie was born May 27, 1982, in Port Hueneme. He lived in Oxnard until the age of 9. He moved to Lancaster, then to the San Fernando Valley and in 2000, moved back to Oxnard, where he resided until his passing. He had worked in construction for the past five years. He liked listening to music and hanging out with his friends. He will be remembered by his smile and his laughter. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his brothers and sisters at the beach. On Jan. 16, 2006, Archie made the decision to receive Christ as his savior, believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for his sins, and accepted him as his personal savior. Archie is survived by his mother, Valerie A. Amesquita; stepfather, David E. Amesquita; brothers, Gabriel Salazar, Alex S. Salazar, Ronald L. Amesquita and Ruben J. Amesquita; sister, Jennina D. Amesquita; niece, Roxanne M. Salazar; and his father, Arturo Salazar. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Corrine J. Soto. Archie, you will always be remembered, loved and missed by those who care for you. Mijo, may you rest in peace. MIGUEL "TRIPLE 6" JIMENEZ Miguel Jimenez, 25, of Oxnard passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, after an accident. Miguel was born Nov. 11, 1980, in Port Hueneme and was a lifelong Ventura County resident. He worked as a sales representative for two years. He is survived by his mother, Eva Jimenez; sisters, Alma Torres, Mirella Jimenez and Marison Ferreira; brothers, Javier Jimenez, Cesar Jimenez and Luis Garcia; daughter, Breanna Jimenez; girlfriend, Mariana Ramirez; sister-in-law, Veronica Reynoso; brothers-in-law, Jose Torres and Rigo Ferreira; and nephews, Anthony Torres, Eddie Torres, Ricky Torres, Christian Torres, Alex Jimenez and Joshua Jimenez... width="425" height="350" ....
