It's crazy how easy it is to write a sad song as opposed to writing a really happy, romantic ballad. I'm not sure what that says about me, but I'm guessing it either has something to do with what I have been through or the fact that society just loves a depressing song. I really enjoy making the songs that I have gone through and it works out even better knowing someone out there has been through the same situation as I have. It seems like one would run out of things to say, but we all know relationships are VERY complicated. I guess a lil' challenge didn't hurt anyone. Nobody likes their plate just handed to them(well, some of you filthy McNasties do! lol)
When I was younger, I didn't understand love. I don't really know that there is a way other than experiencing it for yourself. Nothing greater in the world than loving someone that loves you back. I'm talking about a person that accepts all the flaws you may have. The thing is, no one is perfect and our imperfections are what make us who we really are. It just comes down to the actions you live through. You just have to be "you".
So why is it that all these people mess up such a good thing? Doesn't make sense.
I have seen and heard so many people sad about their lives in relationships. It makes me happy to hear about those happy, but that seems very few. I wonder why that is?
No matter what anyone says, there is someone out there for you. Someday someone is gonna look at you and mean it when they say they I love you. Make sure you treat them right.
