About Me

A bit about myself... I was born in Germany and grew up in the U.S., Japan, and Italy. As a result of my upbringing, I've been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit. My first love in life is music. I was a jazz saxophonist through high school and into college, but the demands of architecture school ultimately required me to put that on hold. I still love music, and there are few times throughout the day during which I am NOT listening to something - particularly jazz or house. I also love walking about the city (Near-Northing as I often call it); shopping, clubbing/partying, dancing, weightlifting, drawing, architecture, art, graphic design and generally expanding my knowledge. Personality-wise, I'm relatively meticulous in most respects--cause it's all about the details...I'm a perfectionist. I'm artistic and pragmatic, so architecture seems a fitting profession. I tend to be quiet, contemplative, introverted.. Some people say I'm shy. Generally speaking, I would rather be inconvenienced than to cause inconvenience to someone else. I enjoy jackets with a good collar. I keep a massive stash of "Extra Polar Ice" chewing gum..never leave home without it. I drink a lot of water. I always try to strengthen/improve my body and mind, and keep a balanced life.
