Influences: Musical influences include everything from my dad's old HiFi records (Dean Martin, Jerry Vale, Chubby Checker...) to the keyboard hook in Del Shannon's Runaway and The Beatles, (She's Leaving Home !), to Al Green's drummer's Al Jackson's (!) soulful off-beat to Toronto's 80's punk/alt scene which included The Diodes, Demics & Blue Peter, to Bob Dylan's Oh Mercy, to filmmaker Terry Gilliam's amazing Brazil, to Morrissey telling America what it can do with its hamburger & check out Winnipeg filmmaker Guy Maddin's feature film Brand Upon The Brain if you ever have the chance!
