I'm really starting to appreciate the madness in the "method" of life. When I say method, I use that word loosely because, as I'm noticing, just when I think I have a firm grasp on this, so called method, it slips away and leaves me confused and even a little frustrated! But, it turns out, that's just as it should be. I'm learning that it's the contentness found in the unknown that makes life such an exciting gift! The emotions, good and bad, the adventures, even when you're scared to venture, the unexpected deaths and births, the fear that drives us and the comfort that holds us anchored to one point, the soft touch of a babies precious hand and even the hard ache that comes along with falling on our ass. The joy found in helping our brothers stand and the sorrow we feel when we HAVE to let them fall - The journey. It's amazing that our entire outlook on life, whether it be a beautiful understanding or a devastating awakening, is weighed soley on just that - our outlook! It's our simple perception of each moment that keeps us delighted and enthrawled in heavenly bliss or trapped in the Hell and tourment of our own making. I now try and remember that and remind myself that it's all in the eyes of the beholder - me. In the words of Edgar Allen Poe, "Could all that we see or seem be but a dream within a dream?" It is what we make it... I choose to make it wonderful, today! What dream will you dream?
