About Me

Hi! I am a guitar player from Narvik, Northern Norway. I picked up the guitar when I was about twelve. My first gigs were with local alternative rock bands in Narvik, such as "Magnet". After a few years at the universities of Oslo and Bergen studying english and philosophy, I went to study music at the Jazz Conservatory in Trondheim, Norway (2000-2004). Since then I've moved back to Oslo, where I'm currently working as a freelance musician. My current bands/projects: JUPITER feat J. Kullhammar, Håvard Stubø Quartet, Håvard Stubø Trio w/Roger Arntzen & Torstein Lofthus, Wes! w/Daniel Franck & Håkon M. Johansen, Jazz & Fly Fishing, Namek w/Lars Myrvoll & Isak Gjertsen, Der Omen, KIVRAN, and others. Together with my good friend Tord Rønning Krogtoft I run a record label, Bolage. We've released 9 albums so far - check out www.bolage.no When I'm not playing, I like to go flyfishing somewhere above the arctic circle...
