In 2003, Charlotte North Carolina a.k.a "The Queen City" gave birth to royalty. That's when four solo artists conformed together to create the "RENAGADA MOB aka The RENAGADAZ", one of the best independent southern rap groups consisting of Unidentified, Platinum, Streets and L. Dot.
The RENAGADA MOB embodies the streets of Charlotte and the neighborhoods they survived. After deciding to put their solo aspirations to the side and forming RENAGADA MOB, they began to grind in the streets with their own homemade CD's.In 2007, the group faced a hurdle that would have crippled and separated most groups. In 2007, Derrick Nixon a.k.a Streetz was murdered, leaving a void in the crew that was hard to survive through. More than a group member or even a friend, Streetz was a brother to the remaining three members, and they never allow his spirit to be forgotten. The death of Streetz solidified the RENAGADA MOB's hustle. They were determined to made an impact in their hometown for their fallen brother. He must be smiling from heaven.Pushing to engrave their mark on the Carolinas , The RENAGADA MOB have performed for crowds of thousands to hundreds, clubs to arenas. If you have been to one of the latest RENAGADA MOB live performances you can't help but to be intrigued by the group.Drawing from their solo careers, each member goes at their verse like it’s their last. With the RENAGADA MOB, its pick your position. There's the super lyrical delivery and smooth-southern swagger of "Platinum". L. Dot brings the hyper energetic shake your dreads feel to the joint. With a penchant story telling in the vein of Pac or Scarface, Unidentified is the set-up man. Combine those elements with the presence of Streetz in their minds and heart s, then you see why RENAGADA MOB is the next big thing out of the Carolinas .RENAGADA MOB currently has a mixtape circulating in the streets called "RENAGADA MOB-Streetz Edition".
