Ever since I was a little child, I have been fascinated by this type of written expression and it seems to flow naturally for me- especially during emotional times. The following is a sample of some of my work. Hope you like it :)
TIME
As the clock ticks by
As my eyes absorb the sky
As I sit there and I try
To think of anything but why
As the music turns
As the CD learns
As my mind adjourns
My heart still burns
As I fall on to my sheets
As I hear steady beats
As longing defeats
No emotion competes
WHAT KEEPS US AWAKE
What keeps us awake when sleep is so strong
What makes us right when our words are so wrong
What forces us to smile with sadness in our hearts
What shuts our eyes when our eyes are like darts
When will we tear off the mask that we wear
When will we know all the things that we share
When will we match what displays on our face
When will we find what it is that we chase
BROKEN
Friendship broken
Words unspoken
Eyes like coal
Windows to the soul
Truth expressed
Lies confessed
Hammer to the heart
Emotions fall apart
More about me: I've been to 2 different uni's, but uni is not for me. I'm currently working P/T at Officeworks Geelong. I met my beautiful fiance almost 2 years ago..I love him to pieces! We are getting married in November! I have a brother Sam, a gorgeous little kitten called Ashy and lots of amazing friends:)
I have 3 tattoos, I'm addicted to chocolate, I'm friendly and I stress easily. My dream would be to have my poetry published. My Dad is my greatest hero, always there for me and a funny bastard too!
One more thing- I LOVE MY BEAUTIFUL FIANCE MARKY! I LOVE YOU BABY! MWA. We have so much in common. I can do anything with him, be anything with him, and appreciate him more than I can say. I believe there is no greater emotion, no feeling more intense, no passion greater than love. To love and to be loved- wholly, completely...it's the one thing worth living for in this world, the one thing that matters.

My Interests

I love writing poetry when my emotions are high....I love going out with friends and drinking the night away! I like ice-skating, I quite enjoy singing, I love shopping (like any girl), going for walks with my ipod, eating (food is soooo good), listening to loud music and snuggling up with Marky's clothes on the couch. My all-time favourite thing to do is snuggle up with my fiance on the couch and watch TV.

Music:

I like any genre of music, depending on the song. I mainly listen to 'Top 40' stuff, but really like Blink 182, Eminem, 2Pac, Offspring, Usher, and have recently discovered WHITE ROOM (Thanks to Nikki!). I LOVE their song ENEMIES CLOSER, I am obsessed! So hot.

Movies:

I'm a bit of a girlie girl, I like bitchy teeny bopper movies! he he. I also like action, comedy and horror. I used to LOVE horror until I saw HOSTEL. I know that I will never see anything as utterly horrible and disturbing in my entire LIFE. Do NOT watch it. Ever. Love things like 'Scary Movie' and 'Bring it On.'

Television:

Many shows keep me amused, but my favourite would have to be LAW AND ORDER SVU! Also, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Scrubs, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond and Still Standing. I also love sketch shows such as 'Comedy Inc.'

Books:

I used to read a lot when I was younger but I don't much anymore. The last book I read was 'Memoirs of a Geisha,' which was fantastic.

Heroes:

My Daddy and my boy Marky :)..
