I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids whether we're out having fun or just at home hanging out. BBQing at my mom's or my neighbor's is fun. If I ever get time to myself, I love word games and crossword puzzles, (Thanks to my Grandma who loves them as well), or curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book. I am also a hockey fan. Dinner and a hockey game is the perfect night out for me! With my friends and family I like to go camping, take walks, go for a drive with no particular destination in mind, and I LOVE music! Oh yeah, and I can't forget GAME NIGHT! It's a blast!
I'd like to meet:
This is a tough one to answer...I could choose so many. I guess I would like to meet anyone I have never met before! ;o) I am very much a "people person".
Music:
Christian music...anything from worship to Christian Rock, I love it! Jars Of Clay is probably my favorite group. I also enjoy Switchfoot, Nickelback, Rob Thomas, Barlow Girl, KT Tunstall, Colbie Calait, Natash Bedingfield, Bebo Norman, Out Of Ruin...I could go on and on. The "Catch And Release" soundtrack is great also no matter what anyone else says.
Movies:
"Fools Rush In" is my #1 movie choice! It is kinda me and my hubby's movie. ;o) Overall, I prefer romantic comedies that my husband and I can watch together and both enjoy. "Failure to Launch", "Sweet Home Alabama", "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days", and "You, Me, and Dupree". I love Owen Wilson! "Fool's Gold" and "Dan in Real Life", were cute. "Hitch" is good no matter what kind of movie you're in the mood for. My husband and I NEVER get the time to go to a movie though, so I don't get to see any until they are out on video and on sale! ;o) Oh well, our neighbors love it because they never have to rent movies...they just come borrow ours, so it works out great!
Television:
I am not a big TV watching person. Unless there's a good movie on, I don't watch much at all. (Well, except for PBS kids or the Disney Channel...the joy of having four little kids!) Who has time for TV, seriously??? I do try to catch the news every once in a while, but it is so depressing that I don't watch it very often. My neighbor girl has me hooked on CSI: New York though. I am never home when it's on, so I have to download it from iTunes and watch it late at night when I get home from work.
Books:
I love to read, but finding the time seems almost impossible! Lately, my time seems to be spent changing diapers and making PB&J sandwiches. When I do get the chance however, I like inspirational reading or anything by Barbara Kingsolver. I don't know why, I just love her books! A good book to me is one that makes me cry or laugh out loud.
