With the latest music trends and development of technology it seams that some artist are leaving out the fundamentals of music and simply replacing it with what my just sound hot. Whatever happened to the days of making R&B classics that shaped the industry, the music of yesterdays? With the introduction of singer and songwriter Jauntè Jacobs, he's not trying to fix what some says is broken, but just bring back the music that he loves, real R&B.

Born and raised in the DC metropolitan area but musical shaped and groomed in the hubs of the A-Town (Atlanta GA) two cities that's giving birth to what he hopes to become, a musical icon. Jauntè comes from a non-musically inclined family which caused him at a early age to reach out and find artist that would inspire him, in his quest he discovered the likes of Sammie Davis Jr, Sam Cook, Whitney Huston, Donnie Hathaway and Michael Jackson, just to name a few. These are some of musics greats that played a major part in the development of his god given talents.
When writing Jauntè say's "I try to write in storyboard format, I want everything to make since and I try not to skip around on several different topics in one song. I never write my songs out on paper, everything is a free style I let the music speak to me, and I interpret what I feel the music is saying in words. I write all of my own song because I 'v personally gone through whatever it is I'm writing or singing about and it makes it more personal to me, coming from me, the artist"
Like many artists Jauntè started performing actively in church and school choirs. He also honed his talents performing in an off-Broadway style musical Christmas Celebration, where he sang and danced in 14 sold out shows for more than 40 thousand audience members. With the desire to fine-tune his craft, Jauntè joined a drama and dance troupe ECDCDT, which led to acting roles, vocal solos, and the opportunity to perform for thousands of youth from across America.
Jauntè's primary goal is to become an all-around entertainer and a music icon for his generation and beyond, as one can see, he's not that far away from achieving that goal. Jauntè, a rising star to watch for and a new and refreshing voice to listen to.
