About Me

Hi! I'm Christopher.I'm basically known as a hooligan, but I like to think of Schoolsmyself as a good guy who is full of piss-n-vinegar.I'm a grad student at Middle Tennessee State University, in Tennessee, USA. I'm completing my Master's in Historical Preservation. I'm basically learning about how we can preserve our past. I've finished my coursework and I'm now writing my Master's thesis. Over the coming months, I'll put bits and pieces in my blog.I'm now living in Boucherville, with my family. I'm doing my the Canadian part of the investigations for my thesis and I'm preparing the document·I'm a man of paradoxes.I like to argue a point (for the fun of it), I get moody from time to time and I've been told that I have a way of getting under your skin.I know all of this sounds weird, but I'm a fairly unconventional guy. I'm not afraid of what others think of me... well, at least not anymore.Don't forget to say HI. I'm interested in meeting some cool new people, I'm "new" in town.

My Interests

I play the mandolin.

I love architecture and churches. So, church architecture is a big interest.

I love history! I especially love the history of coastal Georgia and South Carolina.

I am also extrèmement proud of my quebecoise heritage.

I'd like to meet:

I enjoy meeting people who challenge me intellectually, respect the faith, are active physically, find the not-so-ordinary to be enjoyable and are socially polite in the company of the common.
But, other than that, I'd just like to meet some new and interesting people. I speak both French and English. I prefer to speak in French.

Music:

I grew up in a home where music is constantly playing. I was raised to respect all musical traditions. In reality, there's very few types of music that I truly dislike, except for rap and country.

Movies:

My favorite movie of all times is "Citizen Kane." When it snows in Tennessee, I run around the yard whispering "rosebud!" In August of 2006, I went to Japan. Now that we're home, I we've watched every samurai movie ever made.

Television:

History Channel, Discovery Channel, some ESPN, old movies...

Books:

Mostly having to do with religion, history and architecture. I've recently become a fan of Dante's Divine Comedy. Everything that you need to know about life is in that work. It also gives you an incredible history lesson and tells you a lot about architecture!I'd like to learn something about the literature of Quebec. Does anyone want to teach me?

Heroes:

I'm still reworking this notion.
