Somewhere in England taking a break!
My favorite city in the world is FLORENCE, ITALY.
I have been in most major museums and art galleries in the world, but my favorite is the Uffizi in Florence. I can't even begin to describle how I feel about Italy completely, but I love that country so much for everything that is has to offer. My favorite artist is Alessandro Di Mariano Filipepi or better known as Sandro Botticelli. He died on May 17, 1510 which may be my connection as May 17 is my birthday.
My

MAUI and
GRAND CAYMAN.

You Belong in Rome
You're a big city girl with a small town heart
Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome
Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand
And gorgeous Italian men - could life get any better?
What City Do You Belong In?
I probably would have had an affair with Elvis in the 60's if I had been one of his leading ladies..
I have a love for the
Corvette and the 1960's American made muscle.
I'd like to meet:
AND anyone who has a wonderful sense of humor, anyone from Australia...I haven't been there yet and need some friends from DownUnder, anyone who is NOT a pervert because I already met all of those I care to meet on MySpace, anyone that inspires me in an artistic sense or to be a better person, anyone that has an attention span longer than mine, any kind of artist or musician, people with tattoos and/or piercings, anyone with an IQ higher than mine, plastic surgeons, beautiful people inside and out, Corvette owners and late '60's model Camaro owners, anyone with an opinion but doesn't persecute me for mine, astronauts or really Jim Lovell in particular, surfers, racers, baseball players, anyone that knows anything about quantum physics, body builders ('cause I love some muscles), international jewel thieves, anyone that dares to be different!
If you are under 21 and you are not a member of my family DO NOT request me as a friend! I WILL turn you down! Also, I don't answer emails that just say "hey", "what's up", or "do you want to chat".......it will save us both alot of time and effort!
Music:
Well of course Metallica, KISS, Tool, Sevendust, Pantera, Dope and any bad-ass metal but other than that I am actually pretty eclectic with my choices...but ABSOLUTELY no bubble gum pop such as Brittany freakin' Spears!! I loved Staind and Disturbed too. I am a child of the 80's, Warrant rocks! Uncle Tom's Cabin is kick-ass! Rick Springfield and Night Ranger, who doesn't love Sister Christian? I almost forgot to include Rush! I don't like much country, but I love George Strait! My favorite!!
Movies:
Naturally first on my list would be the holy trinity of 1979-1980 roller disco cinema..... Xanadu, Roller Boogie and Skatetown USA, next would be Satan's School for Girls staring Kate Jackson. It used to be my favorite spooky movie as a young child..then there is the classic made for TV movie..KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park(1978)..gotta love that one..
But seriously there are SOOO many....
The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu
Fight Club RULES!..."If I had a tumor, I would name it Marla"..Blazing Saddles, The History of the World Part I, Young Frankenstein any Mel Brooks film really..he rocks, I have this thing for The Rocky Horror Picture Show , maybe it's my name or maybe it's something about a man in drag...I am a big Kevin Smith fan so Clerks,Clerks II is awesome..really funny stuff, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (I tolerate because ...), Chasing Amy and Mallrats...Super Troopers, The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie, Dumb and Dumber, There's Something about Mary, Old School and ANYTHING with Will Ferrell..I think he is the funniest man alive... , Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Vince Vaughn and preferably all of them together or any combination! I am not the norm for a girl I guess, I like dumb shit...Stupid humor is awesome. I loved Zoolander and A Night at the Roxbury, also Napoleon Dynamite! Other than that..movies with happy endings..like Ever After, Coyote Ugly(I know), Really any Epic historical film like Troy and Gladiator and any historical novel film like The Count of Monte Cristo..then there's Top Gun..the volleyball scene..AHHH , The Indiana Jones Trilogy (Harrison Ford is one sexy dude) and the entire Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez collection although I am not a fan of gore, I still love Quentin and Robert's writing & directing abilities (NOT Quentin's acting) but TRUE ROMANCE written by Quentin tops the list......
AND I am a huge fan of 30's Hollywood glamour. I love old movies and I love Jean Harlow, the ORIGINAL blonde bombshell..Dinner at Eight, Wife vs Secretary..a shame to lose her at age 26. Click on the picture of Jean below to see some fabulous pictures!
Television:
I don't really watch much television now that my favorite show, Absolutely Fabulous is no longer on the air!
I also enjoyed Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter (I own on DVD!!), Fantasy Island(except for the scary clown episode) and Dance Fever with that Terrio guy.
"I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. " - Groucho Marx (1890 - 1977)
Books:
Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Gone With the Wind, the entire Harry Potter series (much better than the movies), every book Anne Rice has written especially The Vampire Chronicles(that may not be true..Morpheus just goes on and on and on)...really any classic novel, I am a big Steinbeck fan...Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden, Cannery Row..also a big Sidney Sheldon fan..he has a wonderful mind!
