I love to go camping on Bodacious, my scoot. Loaded up the way you see her in these pics, she is totally stable and loves to get in the wind. The longest trip I have taken thus far was from Victoria, Texas to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a distance of 760 miles. On the return trip, Bodacious and I rode it back all in one day, leaving Eureka Springs at 6:30am and arriving back home at 10:30pm. Something I just had to do to see if the "old man" still has what it takes!

Then of course there are the bike rally's that I love to go to when I get the chance. I was intending to go to the ROT (Republic Of Texas) bike rally in Austin this year but will not be able to make it due to working in the New Orleans area. For those of you that are going (you KNOW who you are....isn't that right ERIN?), have a blast and drink a few for the old man, will ya? Maybe we'll see ya there in 2007.

Most of us ride because of the sheer love for the freedom you feel when on the scoot with the wind in your face. There are, of course, other reasons. Meet my reason for riding.....................hell, she got me the scoot for Father's Day! Most important, of course, is the fact that Sweetcheeks makes a wonderful backrest! Ain't she somethin?
I served 7 years active duty with the United States Navy (1965 - 1972) during which time I got to spend 3 yrs. 11 mo.(4 tours) of my life doing duty in Vietnam. I have worked security off and on since 1967. While working security in San Diego, California I got to rub elbows with some of the "rich and famous". During the late 60's and early 70's most of my time was spent either working rock concerts for Creme, Chicago, Poco, Janis Joplin, Santana and Elvis Presley. I also taught bodyguard techniques for 2 years. Currently I am assigned to temporary duty in the New Orleans area for the Hurricane Katrina Recovery efforts.
