About Me

Up-and-coming Canadian country/rock singer-songwriter has been bringing her powerful voice, strong melodies and witty lyrics to the scene since 2002. She has released an EP, a full length folk-rock-country CD in 2004 called "Southbound"- and has received online song awards and international airplayIn 2008, with a new Factor demo grant award in her arsenal, she is putting her songwriter goals front and center. Poprock roots inform her own blend of sassy and sensitive new country. She looks forward to recording with Jay Rhiel of Signature Sound this fall. When Laura is not writing and co-writing with songwriters in Toronto and Nashville, she is actively performing in both cities at high profile music festivals (Toronto City Roots, Winterfolk, Tin Pan North) and at music venues.Toronto NSAI coordinator Not only an active performing writer, Laura also leads songwriting initiatives in Ontario as the co-ordinator of the Nashville Songwriters Association InternationalToronto chapter, the largest songwriting association in the world. www.nsaitoronto.com..
