About Me

The best compliment anyone could ever give me is that I'm "one of the guys." Just about anyone who hangs out with me will tell you that I'm pretty amiable; usually I'm down for just about anything. I've been told by just about everyone and his mom that I'm extremely sarcastic, but I do my best not to hurt anyone in the process because making people laugh at the expense of someone else's dignity is just shitty (unless he's a major prick and needs to be put in his place).
I used to really dislike E! and shows about celebrities on VH1, but these days I'm completely obessed with them. I can't help it! I really can't stand most celebrities-- they're like children but with a ton of money-- but it's like a train wreck and I can't make myself look away.
My interests vary widely and I always love to learn about new things- sports, classic muscle cars, auto mechanics, genetics, history, theology, or just about anything else. I've recently graduated from Stony Brook with a degree in Biochemistry and plan on attending grad school, but for now I'm working as a full-time research assistant/lab tech at Cold Spring Harbor.

My Interests

Violin, guitar, rugby, baseball, tennis, running, working out, painting, sketching, ceramic sculpture, video games, dying my hair every shade of red imaginable.
Learning about forensics, genetics, theology, politics, muscle cars and auto mechanics
Watching the New York Yankees (Paul O'Neil was always my hero), Green Bay Packers (Brett Favre is still a God)
