About Me

I'm always a little lost for words when it comes to telling others about me, as if I'm trying to "sell" myself. I guess I'll start with the basics. I am 26 years old, born in the later part of June making me a Cancer. I have lived in Charlottesville all of my life even despite the population boom going on now--I'm still here. Things with me and my life are quiet compared to most because I enjoy a lot of simple things. I am over the top at times, but am usually calmed down after surrounding energies die down. I graduated from Charlottesville High School in June of 2000 with an Advanced Studies Diploma, followed by 2 years at Piedmont Virginia Community College. I live at home with my parents and am very family oreinted.

My Interests

Like I stated above, most of my interests or likes are simple. I enjoy relaxing nights with friends, Shopping, Dining, and going to the movies. I also collect movies, preferably ones in original covers, and Stephen King first edition hardbacks. I enjoy writing, being creative while thinking outside of the box, crafting- whether it be paining or just creating, and also I love to cook. Halloween. I enjoy chatting online and goofing around the internet stumbling upon interesting and different sites.

Music:

The thing about me and music is that I usually become interested in a particular artist or song after it's been popular for a bit. I enjoy classical music (puts me in a relaxed state), I enjoy Cher and Reba McEntire and pretty much any pop artist that has been around for at least 15 years. I used to be apart of the Charlottesville High School Orchestra during the years of 1996 thru 2000, started playing the violin at Walker Upper Elementary School in the 5th grade. I had studied piano for a few years during my early years of high school as well. I don't play much anymore, usually when I do it's mainly for myself. My nerves get really bad if I'm playing for someone else.

Television:

This season I decided to try to get involved with as many TV shows as I could at one time. I currently view Desperate Housewives, Heros, Help Me Help You, Boston Legal, Jerhico, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Shark, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Men In Trees, Passions, The Young and the Restless, Saturday Night Live, MadTv, Drawn Together, The Venture Brothers, Full Metal Alchemist, and pretty much whichever realtiy shows are on TV at the time.

Books:

My favorite books are the ones that give your imagination a workout. My favorite children's classic is The Secret Garden. My favorite books throughout school are, The Bean Trees, Ellen Foster, Black Boy, amd The Catcher in the Rye. My favorite books by my favorite author, Stephen King are as follows: Carrie, The Shining, Rose Madder, Delores Claiborne, and Night Shift.

Heroes:

All of the men and women who have served this country in battle to uphold and protect what we have.
