About Me

Born in November 1961, I soon realized I wanted to do something about music. At the age of 4 I already listened to the Kinks and the Stones from the L.P's that my older brother played. I began trying to learn the drums on cardboard boxes and kitchenware in my room, listening to Led Zeppelin and The Who, among other stuff. At the age of 14 I bought my first F.Zappa album "Apostrophe" and Miles Davis "In a silent way". At this time I began to "absorb" all Jazz he could get, independently of my likes for Pop/Rock. During the 80's, I worked as a DJ in one of the Lisbon underground scene bars and had a local radio broadcast , where I played essentially "The Paisley Underground" scene (you can also check my page at www.myspace.com/djcordovox). In the late 90'sI joined up (as a drummer) a couple of indie rock bands, but finally,(or luckilly), none didn't work out. Lately, I've been dedicated to learn and work with samples, construction kits and synthetised sounds. Everything you can hear here, is made with these tools and a digital audio workstation. Along with this and my full time job I also d'jay at LGare Cafe in Lisbon/Bairro Alto every third Friday of the month
