DJ BIO:
Music is my one true love, my passion and my mistress. She has loved me, used me, touched me and abused me to varying degrees over the years but through her I have become what I am now; as a person, with my career, and with my friends.
Ive been DJing for over 20 years, beginning in Perth, West Oz, where I got the bug working in record shops as a kid. Ive DJed around the world playing at big clubs and small – Resident or DJ at Pacha (London and Ibiza), The Cross, The Egg, MoS, The (original) Bluenote, The End/AKA, 333 Club, Abigail's Party, Bar Vinyl, Zigfrid, T-Bar (London), Mundaka Club (Spain), Traffik (Dublin), Aqua (Perth, Oz), Blue Room (Sydney) to name but a very few.
Ive played for some of the world’s best known promoters/labels including Sancho Panza, Defected, Finger Lickin, Nuphonic, Plastic Fantastic, Air, Blonde and many others. As you can imagine Ive played alongside some of the world's best (and worst) DJs and there are way too many to list here!
DJing has led me to appear on numerous radio shows, setting up some of the first dance music shows in Australia at 6UVS and RTR FM as well as pirate station Escape FM in London. I was also instrumental in setting up internet radio in London, with shows on Worldwide FM and GaiaLive. I have also guested on George FM.
Production credits include remixes for Cookie and Satsuma on the Blue Rooms label.
Ive played every sound under the sun in order to get people to dance; from Indie to trash 80s pop and rock through to breaks and drum & bass. I’ve always had a passion for deep house in all its forms and am currently mixing deep electro house with original 80’s basslines and progressive sounds.
I can on occasion be heard at Ink Bar/Coherant and The Musket Room, at various parties for Le Resistance and, as always; playing for Special Fried Noodle at venues across town – all in Auckland NZ. I also play Djembe African Drums with Jimmi Dale's drum school.
