Hollow Limit

About Me

Hollow Limit are a five-piece hailing from Hanworth who have been tearing up stage and studio since their inception. From humble beginnings these boys have begun to gain precious recognition on the scene. Through their unique brand, style and charisma it’s hard to ignore these rising stars that have been blowing away crowds for a number of years, as demonstrated by an ever-growing fan base of stunned faces leaving their venues.
[History]
Formed during school years by a group of young musicians who aspired to play music like their heroes, the band has come a long way, and there is further to go. Drawn together by a mutual love of music and desire to create their own, a group was formed under the banner of Hollow Limit. After jamming together and playing a number of gigs for charity at their College, the band realised they had an audience. There was no going back now…
Several line-up changes have pushed them through a musical evolution and the band has carefully refined their sound, drawing from a wide variety of influences to create an original and recognisable tone. This is a melodic approach to heavy metal, featuring high octane guitar work with a more than healthy slice of duelling, intense pulsing bass lines teamed with furious, pounding drum beats, all backing a vocal line soaring and screaming in equal measure. Not for the faint hearted.
As a live act they can’t fail to impress. These guys can command a crowd to do its bidding and give the full works to a crowd of any size. Their professional approach and delivery do nothing to stifle the edge of pure energy and raw passion that emanate from them. Expect to leave with a horse throat, neck damage and a shit-eating grin. Winning over fans of all ages at an increasing pace Hollow Limit are on a path that leads only up.
[Records]
In the summer of 2008, after much hard graft on original material, HL hit the studio to record their first EP. Production of this was headed by Mike Curtis of Fei Comodo and recorded at CDS studios. The completed work “The Devil’s Hour” features three high quality tracks and will soon be available online. Having spent the majority of 2009 concentrating on gigs and song writing, the band will soon be returning to the studio to record. Set expectations high because you won’t be disappointed with what’s heading your way, as those who’ve seen the latest live shows will gladly verify.
Hollow Limit are coming, “So get on your knees and pray…”
