Tom Hester began his formal training as a member of Wells Cathedral Choir in 1994. With this choir, he performed throughout the UK in prestigious venues such as St. John's Smith Square and St. James' Piccadilly, London. Tom also toured North America, Brazil and Europe. During his time with the choir, Tom recorded many albums and performed a duet on the 'Mixing Their Music' record
As a soloist Tom then gained a Specialist Music Scholarship at Wells Cathedral School alongside a Special Provision Scholarship as a flautist. Tom has achieved grade 8 in both voice and flute
Tom then furthered his studies at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where he completed his BA Hons degree in Contemporary Popular Music. Through this degree he found his niche in the music industry as a backing singer and session vocalist
Recording experience ranges from pop demo's (BMG Records/Jiant Productions) to musicals (Seven Wives of Henry 8th)

Flute highlights include recording and performing 'Fairytale' with singer/songwriter Emma Foruria, Baroque Trio, Symphony Orchestra (piccolo)
