The Creator Of Sound

About Me

I stared DJ'ing at the age of around 14/15 and was in school at the time and so I'm guessing it was around the time and year of 1999/2000. Around that time garage was really hot on the scene and everyone seemed to be jumping on it, whether it was 2 Step or four to the floor. At the time I didn't have a pair of decks. I use to sit at my computer with a program called PCDJ practicing the basics. From this I slowly picked up how to mix and learnt how bars, etc worked and so this helped me in a big way and so I was very grateful for having the program at the time which helped me progress and learn so fast. It was just a matter of time before I applied my theory and psychological skill to a pair of decks and when I did, I was mixing on my mates decks before half of them, in a sense it seemed ironic for someone who didnt have a pair of decks of his own, showing other people how to mix. For my 15th birthday I was lucky enough to receive my first pair of decks which were a pair of Technics 1210's (Thanks Gran, Dad & Uncle).
It was around the year of 2000 or 2001 when I actually jumped on a producing tip. I didnt have any real softwares at the time and my knowledge was limited. I only had ideas of how music worked and how it should sound and so the best thing for me at the time was a Playstation game called Music 2000. Seriously, Im so grateful that this game came my way, as come producers who are big now, even they know what this little sequencer is capable of, if used extensively, because it really does wonders! Overall I must have made 200 beats or so and I still have my memory cards lying around somewhere with all the songs and data.
After having mastered Music 2000, I started using a computer or pc based software around the time of 2002/2003 called Fruity Loops (Version 3). It almost seemed like I was starting all over again and having to get use to settings and sounds and it seemed difficult at first, and what didnt help was not having a computer with a fully functioning soundcard at the time and so I didnt get the adequate time to play around with the software and get into touch with it as fast as possible. Eventually I bought a swag little computer from a record shop that was closing down but at least it had a soundcard which meant justice at last for me lol! Slowly but surely I developed my own sound on Fruity Loops and was satisfied and by now I had such a vast array of sounds, kits and samples to play with as oppose to the basic sounds that came with the software which at the time makes you feel the program is crap which really doesnt do the program no real justice.
In the year of 2003 my talent was slowly being recognised and so me and couple of people started pushing for a couple of pirate radio slots and so I got lucky when I got offered a slot on Flava Fm (87.60). My luck then turned back round when we received a studio raid (which was coincidently on the same day as my birthday) and I was caught hosting on the microphone and so me, DJ Recall & Tenshun who were members of the A-Team that were on the slot before me were questioned and during this time the team from the radio agency had all the equipment seized and taken out to their van with the assistance of fellow police officers, even our records!
Its now 2006, i'm attending university, so i'm just busy with that as well as my music. I'm working with a few name's so keep checking back for the results, you may also catch me on a few radio stations doing what i do, so keep your ear's on stand by. I have also started using Logic Pro 7 now, so I'll try keep you posted with my most recent projects, beats etc. If your interested in working with me or have any proposal's, enquiries or work or would even like to hear more of my stuff, don't hesitate to contact me via myspage's messaging service, as i'm always looking forward to new task's and challenges!
