I grew up surrounded by Music Row writers, producers and musicians. Naturally this made me want to do anything, and I mean anything, other than corporate cheese country- including kill myself, if I had to. Fortunately it hasn't come to that.
I left in 1999 and went to Hampshire College, where I studied music and alchemy. After 4 years of being a dirty hippy in an adult kindergarden liberal fantasy world, memories I will cherish for the rest of my life, I did 2 years of hard time at Berklee College of Music, almost completely ruined my creativity by overdosing on knowledge and information, and dropped out to come back to Nashville and try to forget everything I know about music and just PLAY!!!! DAMMITTT!!!!~
So here I am back in Music City trying to figure out how to put a band together without losing drummers to corporate cheese country artists that pay better. AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
