Rissidium

Rissidium is Marissa Garcia and Carlos Ruiz aka, Rissa and Excidium. Their sound travels through all shades of House music, from garage classics, deep west coast grooves to the darker, techier side of the spectrum, and everything in between. These sounds are explored when spining live providing a journey like feel for the dancefloor. They have established their own imprint, NightChild Records, that provides a wide range of House music from a number of artists that are based out of NYC including original music of their own. Rissidium experiment with many genres and sounds in and out of the House realm to create House tracks that are geared for the dancefloor while having a unique edge. Based out of NYC, Rissidium have played in a number of clubs and Lounges such as Love, Pacha, Sin Sin where Carlos holds a monthly residency to Tut's, Sullivan Room and Cafe De Ville. Carlos and Marissa look forward to continue exploring themselves as artists and as Dj's, providing something unique that evokes motion and emotion.
